Our Process

Paintless dent removal/repair (PDR) has been used overseas for several decades and was introduced to the Australian automotive industry about 15 years ago. Since then, our highly trained and experienced technicians have developed innovative and cost saving techniques.

PDR involves the use of hand tools to gently ‘massage’ the dent out of a panel WITHOUT damaging the paint provided the paint is intact to start with.

Many PDR businesses will try to dazzle customers by saying it involves new technologies but it is simply an art form the success of which depends on the technician’s skill and experience. There is no magic wand or ‘machines’.

Gaining access to the rear of the panel is a requirement of PDR. However, this does not always necessitate the removal of the trim or lining.

In most instances, double skins, bracing and other obstacles do not interfere with our process.
